Our New Home

In April 2012, the Department of Real Estate and Construction will move into a new home in the Abercrombie Building Extension and its old one (the Darcy Building) will be demolished to make way for the redevelopment of the campus. The Editor (that's me) was out on campus taking some pictures of the building work last week.

All the building work is taking place as part of the redevelopment of the Headington Campus of Oxford Brookes. You can find out more about the redevelopment on our website - click on Space to Think. There is a live webcam and also a virtual tour through the new development. If you are ever visiting the campus have a look in the Space to Think room on the ground floor of the Abercrombie Building, there's a great model of the finished development along with examples of the materials being used and some amazing chairs.
